LeRoy: Soul and Conscience Tour

Rhythm, Dance, and Musical Meditation with Leroy White
February 21, 2004 7:00 p.m.
Ray Auditorium

Celia Black, copyright 1998

LeRoy sings with a deep, rich father mountain voice, words of encouragement and power. He plays congas, udo drum, crystal singing bowls, council drums, and an array of percussion instruments that fill the stage. He dances, he talks, and laughs with you as if everyone in the audience is in his living room. He bonks you in the head to remember who you are. Then he sings you into power. He calls his music E.U.N.A. (Ethinic Urban New Age). An after-show reception will be held in the YMI galleries immediately following the concert on Saturday evening. $15 per person.

Now you don’t have to be a drummer to create rhythm. This is “No Fear Drumming”. We are born into rhythm, we have it already!
