The Wilmington-based, wheel-chair bound artist will display selections from his Americana, African Tribal , and Spiritual painting series. Davis' style is impressionistic realism and uses bright, vivid colors that are striking and powerful. He has been widely recognized as one of the premier African American artists in the country. Mr. Davis will be present at the exhibit's opening and will host a workshop for area students as part of the Arts-In-Education program series.
