Tarah Singh is a local artist who lives in Western North Carolina over the past 25 years. Her family is originally from British Guyana , South America, and she strives to transfer some of her Caribbean heritage into her work through the selection of colors and subject matter. Her goal is not just to make a pretty picture, but also to capture the real moment. Tarah is just trying to give the audience a glimpse into her reality, hoping in turn to stimulate an emotional response from the viewer that relates to their lives. www.tarahsingh.com
